We had another joyful and relaxed day at the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, and there were some interesting statements in the field in order to provide more update for today’s news. Regarding the works, Mr. Moamer Šehi?, who is responsible for expert supervision over probes 4, 5, 6 – sections A and B, i.e. continuation of removal of the surface layer and revealing of continuous plates on vertical plane, stated that works on probe 4 have been stopped till further notice, and that the access to the probe was cleared and circled with new marking tape. The new military tent was set at the probe 5, in order to provide shelter from weather for workers and to serve as a resting place. Sanel Silajdži?, who is responsible for expert supervision at probe 8, reported that they finished the access using the vertically set stairs, established the protective fence around the probe, and that it was netted, i.e. separated into sections and prepared for further excavation. The draining was also finished at probe 8.
As for the media, the TV crew from Bulgarian «Nova TV Bulgaria» came to Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun today, and will be staying there for several days in order to shoot enough material which they plan to show next week.
Federal Television which is constantly following us in the field, was again here today, and everything will again be presented in their 15 minute show which is traditionally going every Sunday between 9 and 15:00 hours.
The representatives of the Austrian EUFOR also visited the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun plateau site and near it set their present for the foundation – two military tents with dimensions 9x8 m, which is a very important and useful donation for the Foundation.
Firm «Eno» from Sarajevo presented the Foundation with its donation of Neckerman beds and shelves which are used at the house on the plateau which the Foundation is using as logistics base, and the donation proved to be very useful, and we use this opportunity to thank them.
Same domestic volunteer groups which have been volunteering for last few days are still here, and NGO «Tutto Completo» from Kakanj especially stands out, and for tomorrow we have planned visit and youth volunteering from the high school center from Kalesija.
An for the end of today’s news we ill introduce to very interesting persons with whom we talked today, both of them included in the project of Bosnian pyramids, and wishing to contribute to their full affirmation and realization each in his own way.
First is Mihael Arsberger - Mike, a psychiatrist from Austria, who has already spent a few days in Visoko, volunteering, and he has been exhilarated with everything he has seen and experienced so far. He is staying in Kakanj where he befriended with members the NGO «Tutto Completo». When he asked for a comment on everything he has seen so far he said: «I knew that it was a pyramid even before I came here, as I was convinced seeing the satellite images of the terrain, and there were other published proofs sufficient for me to believe in this thesis.». He also said that this and other similar mysteries can be explained if you carefully read boo «Mysteries» written by a group of German authors, which has been translated to many languages, and which he recommended for reading. When asked, how he, as someone working as psychologist and interpreting different human phenomena in everyday work, interprets the resistance of a part of scientific public in BiH against the Project of Bosnian Pyramids, he responded: «There are probably some religious and political opinions because of which they are unable to abandon their so far attitude and opinion, and according to my opinion there is also a large part of dilettantism of competent persons.». Mike, as he is called around here, is very cordial friendly, and he also added that he is enjoying the feeling at Viso?ica-Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, that he likes this part of the world and that he «has a heart for Bosnia».
Željko Markovi? is the second interesting person which we will present. He is a veterinary technician who was led by his enthusiasm and exhilaration to come to the pyramid and offer his help. When he mentioned that he can hunt snakes, in the case of Viso?ica specific poisonous species called “Poskok”, it became his current volunteer task, although it may not remain the only one. This interesting guy told us that he is no snake exterminator, as people were joking around the pyramid, as he rarely ever kills a snake, but simple transports them to a different uninhabited location. And as far as today’s specimen goes, after the curoius public enjoyed admiring it the male snake will find his place in Museum of Visoko which ordered a snake to be used as an exhibit.
Željko told us that he is able and plans to catch all Poskok snakes at Viso?ica. When asked whether it is possible to catch them all he responded that the key lies i catching all the females which are few, and then the males simply follow them.
Thanks to sympathetic Željko, Viso?ica will be free of those pests and will be totally safe for all visitors.
