Pyramid of the Moon is an astonishing source of secrets. Property-owners over there have a unique opportunity to claim that the parts of the ancient pyramids are a part of their land. During the usual field works (sowing, reaping, and ploughing) or out of the archaeological curiosity they have found human-made artifacts of a great value.
In the past decades, when local archaeological authorities had no understanding for valuable prehistoric artifacts, Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun Foundation has filled that gap.
The most recent findings on the slopes of the Pyramid of the Moon bring particularly beautiful samples of sandstone. First impression is that those are cast pieces. That fits into the idea that the larger pieces of both pyramids of the Sun and the Moon have been made with casting the blocks right there and then.
Currently it is difficult to say whether they are a copy of a fruit found in nature (possibly walnuts) or something else. Further findings will give more insight to those stone samples that are currently being safely guarded at the private properties.
