A group of journalists from Japanese daily newspapers “The Mainichi” had visited today the Bosnian valley of the Pyramids. The Mainichi is Tokyo based and sells as much as five million copies.
A group of journalists from Japanese daily newspapers “The Mainichi” had visited today the Bosnian valley of the Pyramids. The Mainichi is Tokyo based and sells as much as five million copies. Today, they were writing an article on Bosnian Pyramids, and its readers will have an opportunity to get acquainted with the Foundation’s project and Archaeological Park; Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids.
Among the other visitors today, Mr. Werner R. Moser, an owner of several private clinics in Germany and Austria, had met the Foundation's research team on the excavation sites. A group of teachers from the elementary school» Ivan Goran Kovacic» from Gradacac were also visiting.
On the excavation site #8, of the Pyramid of the Moon (quadrant F), the continuance of the stone blocks is becoming more visible. Towards the northern side, there is a layer of marl, and an extraordinary pattern is visible within the profile of the blocks (vertical dimension 24 cm, and horizontal width is 6 cm).
The excavations also continued on location #7 towards the northwest. At about 130 cm from the northern side, the excavation site has been widened with the total dimensions of 1,30x 1, 00 m. At the depth of 87 cm, there is clay and already described blocks, which are mixed. Marl is scattered in small fragments only at some places.
Excavation site # 20 was also busy. The upper level, which consists of large stone blocks, was also excavated. The mentioned blocks are 2.80 m in width and 1.85 in depth.
Location # 9 is covered with large stone blocks, which do not have perfect shape, and are descending in stairs. At this place, their shape is getting the form of a straight angle.
