Exploring the Great Pyramid’s Underground Water Tunnels

Thursday, 21 June 2018 09:22 Published in News

For centuries these ancient tunnels have remained hidden and off-limits to everyone but a select few. But now they are coming into the Light and what is being found raises even deeper questions.

There is an ancient Hermetic saying: “As Above, so Below,”meaning, “That which is Below corresponds to that which is Above, and that which is Above corresponds to that which is Below, to accomplish the Miracle of the One Thing.”

This is especially true when it comes to the many mysteries surrounding all the world’s pyramids. In truth, we are just beginning to put together the puzzle pieces that have eluded us for centuries. Therefore, I was determined to know more about what was below ground.

Each shift of volunteers in Bosnian Pyramid project had volunteers from all over the world and even from some countries as far as Thailand.

- I heard about a project from a friend who was in Visoko last year and that led me to inquire a bit about the project. And here I am. I heard a lot about your country from my other friend, who originated from Bosnia, said Thai girl Anong Vognild.

She explained that almost everything that she heard about Bosnia before, was related to war. Than she found out about Bosnian pyramids.

- Nothing could stop me from coming. I did not have any fear of coming here. And I did not make a mistake because I came here, it is really beautiful here, it is a small town, a nice town with a great pyramid and wonderful people, and the team I had here while working is really great. They all are my good friends now and in these few days we have become almost like a family. I was really excited and I'm sure that I will return to Visoko and your country again, if not next year, then surely in the near future – Anong told us.

The end of the first shift of this year's "Expedition to the Bosnian Pyramids with Volunteering" is approaching. This project is very successfully implemented by the Archeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun Foundation several years in row and brings hundreds of volunteers from all over the world to Visoko each year. The first group for this year had its last working day on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun this Monday (June 11th).

- The first group of participants of the Expedition is slowly driving off their stay in Visoko and our country, and through socializing and working in the past few days, I learned that they are very satisfied with what they managed to see and experience in the Visoko and other parts of Bosnia and Hercegovina. In the first shift, we had volunteers from Norway, Spain, France, Finland, Germany, Slovenia, Thailand and the US, and Colombia, said one of the coordinators Tarik Karamehic.

This shift worked mostly on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, continuing last year job, on new probes of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun.

- We worked on the cleaning, but also the expansion of probe number six on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun and we spent several working days here. In addition to the works on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, the group had the opportunity to visit some other sights and cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, so the impressions are really great and I hope that this year's expedition will be like its beginning – in good mood  and successful - Tarik Karamehic told us.
