Back in 2012 Richard Hoyle was writing about the volunteering in the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids. His message then is equally actual today. And yes, Foundation’s field Geologist Richard Hoyle is eager to welcome you in the new season, summer of 2019.

RICHARD H.: Bosnian Pyramid Summer Camp 2012

All I can say is that anyone who comes to this camp will have an AWESOME time. Even IF you dont believe in the Pyramids you will be surrounded with amazing, smart, funny, intelligent, awake and aware people. Everyone is positive and up for helping to change the world for the better.

There is so much good energy, it is rare you will find so many positive, hard working people is one place. You really do get a buzz after a hard days work in the field.

Everyone has a story to tell, a perspective of this world and one of the best parts of the summer camp is when the volunteers are sharing information, spreading new ideas and getting a flavor of culture from all the corners of the world.

I guarantee after two weeks your brain will be overflowing with new found knowledge. It is just my opinion but besides helping to dig up the pyramid, the most important aspect of the summer camp is the bringing together of like-minded people and what you take away from each other. That is why I stated above it does not matter if you are a skeptic or a believer.

As for the work being carried out, it can be hard, especially in the sun but for me and the volunteers over the last two years, maybe its the pyramid energy, maybe its the energy from being surrounded by great people or the fact we are taking part in something meaningful, its easy to work all day (and its not really all day, just 6 hrs). Especially in the tunnels because its nice and cool and you are breathing in highly charged oxygen which gets your brain buzzing (its also great for hangovers).

After work there is plenty of time to see the sights, go exploring, see the sunset from on top of the Pyramids (which is epic) and the sunrise (which is also epic). Often groups of volunteers camp out on top of one of the pyramids with a fire and have a bbq, meditate within the centre of the EM beam (cool) or on the day off go to another town (Sarajevo, Mostar etc).

The pyramid project attracts people from all walks of life, all corners of the Earth. There are people who like sandals and those who prefer boots.

Footwear should not be not a concern. Nor facial hair.

What this project does attract is open minded, caring, sensitive, passionate individuals with a will to make a difference in this world.

There is no division or hostility between those who are all about 'love and light' and those who would call out 'hippie shit'.

The different backgrounds and viewpoints is what makes this project such a breath of fresh air.

Reiki masters, crystal healers, tax lawyers, forensic scientists, shiatsu massagers, professional martial artists, writers, actors, doctors, teachers, divers, ship captains, eternal hippies, musicians, chefs, architects, historians, archaeologists, physicists, biologists, fashion designers, journalists, film makers, environmental scientists, IT experts, salesmen, Pro Footballers, chemists to name a few of the backgrounds that were in Visoko this year.

And all with lots of love!
