On Sunday 4th December 2016, 25 employees of the US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina paid a private visit to the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids. They were hosted by the founder of the Bosnian pyramids Foundation Dr. Sam Osmanagich.
The guests visited several locations starting with the Museum of the “Archaeological park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun” Foundation continuing to the prehistorical Underground Labyrinth Ravne, over the “Touristic- Archaeological park Ravne 2”, and finishing at the archaeological site on the north side of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun.
American guests were impressed by the interdisciplinary scientific approach to the research of such an important location on global scale. They had an opportunity to ask questions about the concrete blocks we’ve found on the pyramid, the purpose of the Underground Labyrinth, but also to enjoy the new park “Ravne 2”.
The guests announced a new visit in summer 2017. After a 6-hour tour, the guests arrived in Sarajevo just in time for the American football match broadcast.
