In the first group of this year „Expedition of the Bosnian Pyramids by volunteering“ was Doga Taslardan from Istanbul. It is her first time to come to our country and Visoko, although the travelling and touring different countries is one of her hobbies. Doga learned about the project during the last year when she attended a conference where Dr. Semir Osmanagich was presenting. According to her words, besides the astonishment with what she’s heard, she was especially amazed by the invitation for everyone to come to Visoko to volunteer and become a part of this historical project.
– I saved money for a long time to come here and finally, I’ve made it. I’m extremely excited about everything I saw here in these few days and I can’t believe how beautiful is Bosnia-Herzegovina, with many incredible natural beauties and cultural and historical riches. Everything is awesome, and I was especially amazed by the Visoko project and the exploration in the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids about which I knew almost nothing – Doga said.
After her first visit to our country, touring around the archaeological sites in Visoko, but also all other memorabilities of Bosnia-Herzegovina she has visited as the part of the expedition tour, Doga hopes that she will return to our land in the next year.
– Until now, I’ve visited 39 different countries, but the volunteering and the expedition were the most remarkable from all the experiences I’ve had by now. These are the pioneering steps, everybody knowing about the pyramids in Egypt, but about the Bosnian Pyramids it is still being discovered, and I’m very happy to be a part of this huge project. I’m happy with the organisation, planning, volunteering and the touring around the natural beauties and cities in Bosnia-Herzegovina, so I have the definite intention to come back here as soon as my obligations allow. – Doga Taslardan said.
