After the great success of the first shift of the „Expedition to the Bosnian Pyramids by volunteering“ for several days already in Visoko is the second shift. This was also the reason to visit the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun where the hard working volunteers from the entire world are working and integrating themselves with the world’s history.
– After the job well done with the first shift, in Visoko at the moment is the second turn of this year’s expedition. There are the participants from USA, Australia, Germany, Netherlands, France and Denmark, as well as the volunteers from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia and of course our country. – said Ajdin Ahmetspahić, the Guide Coordinator of the “Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun” Foundation“.
As the first group did, also this one during the working days is volunteering on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun and the Prehistorical Labyrinth of the Tunnel Ravne, while the leisure days and weekends are intended for visiting the numerous memorable locations of our country.
– Right now, we are focused on the probe No.5 which we’re expanding gradually and removing the layer of humus of 1,5 meters deep, and for the first time after thousands and thousands of years, we’re discovering these concrete blocks on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun. With the dirt removed, we came to the new blocks and we confirm the thesis that complete Pyramid is covered with concrete blocks of extraordinary quality. This season’s goal is to connect the probe No.5 with the neighbouring probe so we can get an opened space which will probably be visible from the city, leaving the greatest impression on the visitors, but also it will represent another associating evidence that it is a construction which is changing the complete world’s history. Of course, besides volunteering and weekend works we are oriented on the tours around many memorable sites that our land has, and this group will participate also in the great conference regarding the Summer Solstice. At the end, I have to point out that all our participants are enchanted by the beauties of our country, the project, and confirm once more that our country is full of numerous beauties, miracles and mysteries, about which it can and it should be spoken. – Ahmetspahić pointed out.
