Expeditions with Ajdin

Fifth shift of volunteers on Bosnain pyramids arrived last Sunday and after orientation with Dr. Osmanagich on Monday they continued with excavations on the northern side of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun.
Six participants of the program „Expedition on Bosnian pyramids with volunteering“ came from France, Italy, Spain, Poland and Germany and after tour on archaeological sites with Foundation’s founder they were very exciting about starting their work.
This week’s work on Sun pyramid were done in great and positive atmosphere, all 20 volunteers behaved as one compact group as they knew each other for a long time, especially after bonding on the top of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Moon where Foundation organized lunch and presentation.
After some Bosnian media wrote that work has been stoped on the pyramids, Dr. Osmanagich sent back the denial of this information claiming that nothing can stop the excavations and our volunteers showed this in practice when they continued working there. We are working more than 400 meters under the protected area of devastated medieval town „Visoki“.
Foundation with Dr. Osmanagich already suggested and offered help with cleaning the are on the top of the Sun pyramid where was the location of castle since our pirmary objective is not just to promote and investigate Bosnian valley of pyramids and archaeological tourism but also to protect all these sites since its important part of our history as well.
All visitors on the Bosnian Pyramdi of the Sun these days are under beatuful impressions after seing our volunteers working there and it would be a shame if we wouldnt have larger support from the local public.
Another positive news are increased number of volunteers from Visoko. Beside our regular worker Tarik now we have two more young volunteers from town. The youngest one is Aldin who enjoy hanging out with all those people from around the world as well as working hard same as all others. Hopefuly there will be more exapmples like this.
Volunteers continue with work today, weekend is for trips to Bijambare caves and stone spheres in Zavidovici and then on Monday we will help our workers on tunnels Ravne where we will be cleaning new sections of the tunnel on our way to the entrance of the largest pyramid in the World.
