The Fifth turn of this year, participants of the “Expedition to the Bosnian Pyramids with volunteering” is finished with the stay in our country, and this was the opportunity to have another résumé with the Volunteer Coordinator in the Foundation, Ajdin Ahmetspahić.
– In the fifth turn, we had about 30 participants from Spain, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Portugal, and of course this time too we had the participant from other continents, more accurately from Australia. This is one of the best groups in this year, they became a nice and homogeneous team and I must admit they did a great job. This group has worked at the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, and then in the Tunnel Ravne. In terms of the visits we went to Boračko Lake, later we visited the stone spheres in Zavidovići, but a special thing about this group is that this time we decided instead of visiting the Bijambare to visit Kladanj and Maidens Cave and Male Water. The participants were amazed by the sites, with the tombstones, Bosnian houses and the Bosnian cuisine. In this way, we broad up the new sights, expanding our offer and try to show through the project to the people which are coming to visit more beauties as possible. – Ajdin said.
The fifth turn completed the job in Visoko and visiting our country, and on Wednesday, August 16, we will have the sixth turn in Visoko. In the first two days, they’ll get familiar with the locations on which they’ll be working, and commence with the works on Friday. It’s interesting that on Friday a large group from Vietnam is arriving at Visoko, 150 of them, over the partner organisation HUESA. It’s planned that this group opens the new probe at the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, outside the protected zone of the Old town of Visoko.
