Cardiac surgeon, Assistant Professor Sanko Pandur M.D. is a regular visitor to the Underground tunnels of Ravne that intrigue him both as a doctor and as a scientist. In the statement for the Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun Foundation, Dr. Pandur emphasized that recent genetic researches proved that the areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Basque region were the sites where the oldest genome was found in Europe.
– They teach us that Bosnia is a romantic country that has nothing but stećci and birds, but not so. Ancient civilizations lived here and I am very proud of that, said Dr. Pandur.
