On Thursday, September 14th, 2017, the prominent Prof. Dr. Senadin Lavić of University of Sarajevo, visited the Tunnels Ravne and the new Park „Ravne 2“. After the organized tour guided by Dr. Sam Osmanagich, he gave his opinion about the project run by the Foundation’s Project in Visoko.
– I am very happy to be here today at Ravne to support the project led by Dr. Osmanagich. From the day one, I’ve recognized his vision even if there were many objections. Believing in the methods and the knowledge of the people from the entire world, today, here we have something that is thousands of years old. You can see objects dated over 12000 years ago, items, while the tunnel is something inconceivable for the present civilization which lives above the ground today. Inside the tunnels, we have relaxed, calmed, felt the peace of the people around us. I am happy I came and I support this in a broader sense, not only as the archaeological discovery, but as the concept in Bosnia-Herzegovina, as the industry where we could develop a special kind of the tourist industry, a brand of our country and I hope it will get even bigger support by the public to develop it and to proudly present to the people of the entire world. The people have heard about this, they are coming here upon recommendation, and there are the healing moments. This is something we have to support, something that will make Bosnia-Herzegovina recognizable in the world.
