With a large camp fire, which has become the tradition of Ravne 2 Tourist Park, wonderful food prepared by the women from the “Visoko Sevdalija” Association, and music providing a relaxing atmosphere, a small ceremony was held on Friday, October 5, 2018 for all employees, guides, associates and other supporters of Archaeological Park Foundation, marking the end of the tourist and main archaeological part of the season in the mysterious Valley of the Pyramids in Visoko, Bosnia.
This was an opportunity for people who have visited and worked on the Bosnian Pyramids Project to gather in one place and celebrate. Included were Foundation excavators, guides, people working in administration, members of the Foundation Board of Directors, and numerous associates and friends of the Bosnian NGO Nonprofit Foundation “Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun.”
This yearly gathering of Foundation employees and supporters of the work and mission of the Foundation has become a wonderful tradition which allows people to exchange experiences and talk about future projects and goals.
At the very beginning of the gathering, the program director welcomed guests Azra Ohran Zubić, Board member Mahir Hadžiahmetović, and the Director of the Foundation, as well as discoverer of the Bosnian Pyramid Complex and founder of Archaeological Park Foundation Dr. Sam Osmanagich, Ph.D.
