At the end of November 2018, the team of the ‘Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun’ Foundation has discovered the entrance to underground tunnels 200 meters away from the entrance to the Underground Labyrinth of Ravne. The entrance to the new tunnels, called ‘Healing Tunnels’, is on the plot owned by the Foundation. Since the entrance is at the same altitude as the existing Underground Tunnels of Ravne, there is no doubt that they belong to the same tunnel network.
As is known, in August 2018, Tunnels ‘Ravne 3’ were also discovered, also on the Foundation’s property, located 500 meters away from the entrance to the Underground Labyrinth of Ravne. Since they are at the same altitude, it proves the hypothesis that tunnel network tens of kilometers long is hidden under the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids.
Works on ‘Healing tunnels’ began at the beginning of December 2018. After the deposition of the earth at the entrance to the tunnels was removed, the material that followed was a pebble, identical to the filling materials used in the closure of the Ravne tunnel. The workers of the Foundation slowly eject the gravel material and prepare the entrance part to be upgraded and then secured with the entrance door.
During the winter period, the workers of the Foundation will be more active than ever and work on three locations in the Ravne tunnel complex.
