Discoverer of the Bosnian Pyramids Dr. Sam Osmanagich has received the highest award of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Parliament: Plaque – Certificate of Recognition for his exceptional contribution in economical and touristic development of this Bosnian region.
Plaque and Certificate were handed to him during celebration in Zenica, Bosnia-Herzegovina, on Thursday, August 29, 2019 by prime minister Mr. Mirza Ganić. All the Parliament and Government members were present during the ceremony.
Prime minister Mr. Ganić said in his statement that ‘Dr. Osmanagić is most deserving for tourism boom in Visoko, which has become propulsive industry in Bosnia’.
Dr. Osmanagich has thanked to do Government bodies for the award stating that this recognition goes to great number of his associates who has been helping in archaeological, scientific, healing and touristic aspect of the project which ttracts hundreds of voluneteers and tens of thousands of visitors eveery year to Visoko.
