For all those who planned to come as a volunteer to Bosnian pyramids in 2020.
Archaeological Park: Bosnian pyramid of the Sun Foundation would like to express its deepest gratitude for your plan to participate in our volunteering program in Visoko and help towards our noble cause.
Due to the unfortunate events of alleged pandemics over the world and its consequences, the borders of many countries remain closed. The same goes for Bosnia-Herzegovina. Currently, only Bosnian citizens may enter the country but with 14 days of self-isolation as a mandatory procedure.
The possible date of the opening of our borders is June 1st but the requirement of two-weeks self-isolation might remain active.
Therefore, we are still unable to give precise answers and instructions to a number of you who are asking if volunteering in 2020 will still happen.
We will inform you further as soon as we have more information, most probably at the beginning of June. For now, what we can say with certainty is that volunteering will not be active in the first half of June, so don’t plan on it.
Still, all our archaeological and touristic sites (Ravne tunnels, Ravne 2 park, Ravne 3 and Ravne 4 tunnels, Bosnian pyramid of the Sun, Bosnian pyramid of the Moon and Tumulus) are open every day of the week from 8 AM to 8 PM. We will be happy to host you as visitors or guests, with our tour guides and their presentations.
