I was delighted that you could speak at my Royal Literary & Scientific Institution in Bath two weeks ago. I apologise that I was unable to chair your talk owing to a commitment at the University of London but I know that my colleague Martin Sturge will have done a good job of chairing your lecture instead. I hope you had a nice evening in Bath. Friends telephoned me to say how good you were!
It was therefore a great pleasure to meet you again briefly at the start of the Edinburgh Histories & Mysteries conference recently when you were sitting with Joseph Davidovits.
I was even more impressed by your talk in Edinburgh for several reasons. You now set the Bosnian pyramids in the context of other pyramids worldwide and this allows the audience to see the scope of pyramid building geographically – most would be surprised to see them in countries not normally associated with pyramids. You also offer a very structured and systematic method of analysis of the pyramid components and investigate each scientifically. This gives the audience confidence in your methodology.
