Dr. Nabil Swelim, the President of the ICBP conference and the Co-Chairman, Semir Osmanagić, held the press conference on August 24th, 2008 and announced the opening of the First International Scientific Conference on
Noted archaeologist, Egyptologist, the discoverer of four pyramids in Egypt and the author of many books about the pyramids, three-time doctorate Professor Nabil Swelim made the following statements at the press conference: “There is no doubt about the pyramids in Bosnia. Those who are claiming the opposite obviously don’t understand the characteristics and properties of pyramids.”
Responding to the questions about the opponents, Dr. Swelim stated that he directly invited to the conference Prof. Enver Imamović, Prof. Anthony Harding, Mark Rose, Prof. Sejfudin Vrabac, Zilka Kujundžić-Vejzagić, Prof. Blagoje Govedarica, Prof. Dubravko Lovrenović, Gavrilo Grahovac and Prof. Predrag Novaković. However, none of them ever responded to this invitation. They refused to use this ideal opportunity to join this scientific gathering and to give their professional opinions, based on valid arguments. if any. Dr. Swelim added that there is no place in science for any general attitudes and emotional statements but rather only scientific arguments and analyses.
