An accident occurred on 28 March 2016 in Ravne Tunnel in the Bosnian Pyramid Complex.
The injured party was Archaeological Park Foundation employee Emir Muminovich.
On that day, he was transferred to the UCC Koševo hospital in Sarajevo. After a review by the Department of Emergency Medicine, he spent seven days in the Intensive Care Clinic.
There he underwent surgery on March 31, when they stitched together the ligaments and tendons in his knees and operated on his spine. He was then transferred to the Department of Orthopedics, 5 April, where he remained until 18 April.
His recovery continues at the Department of Physiotherapy, where he is today. Twice daily, he exercises with a physical therapist.
The cast on his left leg has been removed, and the splints on his right foot will be removed in 10 days.
It is estimated that recovery from the surgery will take six weeks. There will also be treatment in spas and home treatment as well.
Visits to Emir Muminovich are allowed every day at the clinic for physiotherapy from 15:30 -16: 30 hours.
Emir has always kept his good humor and optimism.
