A perfectly-symmetrical pyramid was found by a vacationing Portuguese man who was sailing around the Azores Islands, a territory of Portugal, off the North-west African coast. He was searching for rich fishing grounds with his catamaran’s sonar equipment when he came across this totally unexpected find.
The Portuguese Association of Archaeological Research had recently discovered evidence on the Azores’ Pico island that suggests that humans lived in the Azores region, thousands of years ago, well before the arrival of the Portuguese. As of today, there is still no explanation for who created the rock art found on the Azores. Was the pyramid built by whatever civilization existed prior to the Portuguese? Is it possibly not even man-made?
This video discusses some interesting bits of information that explore the authenticity of the story and the possible location visually using some maps. It is important to note that exact coordinates of the pyramid have not been released. He believes that there may be a discovery of 2 more pyramids in the area as images suggest there could be a design link to that of the pyramids built in Egypt.
You will not find this anywhere in mainstream media because NOAA and other underwater mapping agencies have been mapping this area near the Mid-Atlantic Ridge since the beginning of this technology. They have surely known about this pyramid for some time and never released this information.
