Another important day for the ‘Archaeological park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun’ Foundation and team of volunteers on August 31, 2018.
Eight-member team lead by Dr. Sam Osmanagich and geologist Richard Hoyle has done full prospection of accessible tunnels in the park ‘Ravne 2’. It was 65-meter long journey into unknown. At the end of the tunnels were two more narrow passageways. They were blocked by the filler material.
Two pieces of ceramics (parts of the pottery) and one rusty belt buckle were discovered. They joined metal sharp object (sickle?) discovered day before. All the artifacts were handed to the local Museum and will be documented. After that, dating will be next step, if possible.
Stefan Gruschwitz measured level of oxygen in new tunnels. Values were excellent: between 20,7 – 21,3 %. Also, values of negative ions match those measured in the Ravne tunnels: at the entrance 1.500 negative ions per cubic centimeter, at the furthest point almost 20.000 negative ions/ccm. It’s healing level.
Hard, but exciting work will be continued in September 2018 with the new group of volunteers.
