In Visoko, on June 2, 2015 arrived participants of the first group of “Expedition to the Bosnian Pyramids with Volunteering”. They came from Austria, Sweden, Canada, Australia, France, Switzerland and Poland, and they will do a full 11-day tour, which includes visits to the stone balls in Zavidovici, megalithic walls of Daorson, the tombstones in Stolac, Kravice waterfall, Old Bridge in Mostar, Old Town in Sarajevo and medieval fortresses in Vranduk and Travnik.
During their volunteering days, volunteers from Croatia, Germany, Belgium and Bosnia and Herzegovina will join them.
Welcome dinner for volunteers was prepared in the first evening. On the next day (June 3), they visited Belvedere, Underground labyrinth Ravne, Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun and the tumulus in Vratnica together with their host and coordinator of guides of “Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun” Ajdin Ahmetspahić .
The third day, on June 4, they worked under the direction of professional archaeologist Anela Preljević and geologist Mejra Kozlo on the cleaning of tunnels Ravne and search for artifacts and organic materials.
