We inform the public that from Sunday, October 29, 2023, there will be a change in working hours at archaeological and tourist destinations managed by the Foundation ‘Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun’ and its company ‘Bosnian Pyramids, Inc.’.
The transition to winter working hours and the earlier arrival of darkness are the reason, as every year, that the locations will be closed earlier.
Opening hours for visiting the underground tunnels of Ravna are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The last entry into the tunnels with the Foundation’s official guide is at 4:00 p.m. The last entry for visitors with a monthly, semi-annual and annual ticket is at 18:00. Contact: Anja (061) 420 422.
Entrance to the tunnels ‘Ravne 3’ and ‘Ravne 4’ is accompanied by an archaeologist from the Foundation, with prior notice, on weekdays (Monday-Friday) from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Entry into the newly discovered ‘Ravne 6’ tunnels will be permitted accompanied by archaeologists with prior notice, once access to the tunnels has been completed, protected with a wooden substructure and lights have been installed. Visits to archaeological probes with concrete blocks on the north side of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun will take place every day from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. under the guidance of an official Foundation guide. Contact: Namik: (062) 986 373
Visits to other archaeological sites (the Bosnian pyramid of Moon, the tumulus in Vratnica, the stone balls in Zavidovići) are possible every day with prior notice, with the professional guidance of the Foundation’s official guides, in the period from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Contact: Anja (061) 420 422.
The ‘Ravne 2 Archaeological-Tourist Sports Park’ is open for visits every day, free of charge, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Rental of the sports-tourist and conference complex for Team Building, workshops, lectures and sports meetings is possible every day, with prior notice.
