After a short, regular break, this year project of the Foundation “Expedition to the Bosnian Pyramids with volunteering” continues and the seventh shift is in Visoko now. Due to this, we’ve paid a visit to this hard working and dear people, which came to our country from all around the world again. After visiting the locations, at the moment they are employed at the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun as the volunteers.
– The seventh shift of the expedition is in Visoko, and as it was the case with the previous shifts we can brag that here we have the volunteers and friends of the project from the entire world, Argentina, Israel, France, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Britain, Italy and also from Australia and New Zealand, but in this group we have the local people too – said Ajdin Ahmetspahić, the Volunteer Coordinator at the Foundation.
The seventh turn continues with the works initiated by the sixth turn at the newly opened probe No. 6.
– We’re continuing with the diggings at the new probe at the unprotected part of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun. This turn managed to reach through the layer of clay and humus which was over the concrete and now we’ve reached the concrete blocks, proving that the concrete blocks spread in all directions. This group will work on the expansion and following of the blocks. For the next week, we plan another excursion and another working day at the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun. After that, the last, eight group of the Expedition will arrive in Visoko, which will be working in the Tunnels and after at the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun – Ahmetspahić explained.
