At 10:00 AM meeting at Ravne on July 5, 2017, and afterwards visiting the Archaeological-Tourist Park “Ravne 2”, a Prehistoric complex of tunnels Ravne, as well as the Foundation’s Museum, the Delegation of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Assembly, paid a visit to the “Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun” Foundation.
The cause of the official visit was the initiative of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Assembly Representatives Kemal Mušinbegović to declare the Park “Ravne 2” as the park of Canton’s importance. In Visoko, the Delegation was led by the President of the Assembly Jasmin Duvnjak, and his Deputy Ivo Tadić, but in Delegation there were other Assembly Representatives and Visoko Representatives: Kemal Mušinbegović, Senad Karavdić and Amir Ganić, as well as a few Ministers from the Zenica-Doboj Canton Government, also the Director of the Joint Affairs Agency Ćazik Karalić. After the tour, a press conference was held during which Dr. Sam Osmanagich thanked the Delegation for visiting and for the proposed initiative, and the gentlemen Duvnjak, Mušinbegović and the Minister of Environment Fahrudin Brkić spoke to the audience.
The 20 person Delegation at the end of the visit didn’t hide the amazement with what they’ve seen, and all in agreement to support more in the future the research project of the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids, but also the expansion of the offer, such as the opening of the Park “Ravne 2”. During the visit, but also in the informal discussions many ideas were born, which will raise the project in Visoko to an even higher level.
One of the interesting ideas came from the President of Zenica –Doboj Cantonal Assembly Jasmin Duvnjak, which is to have the spotlights or lasers at the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun or to be exact at the corners. This is the case with several famous places in the world and for the project, it would be a type of an additional promotion also attracting the guests passing by Visoko.
The Representatives that were present promised at the end of the visit to do everything in their power to declare the Archaeological-Tourist Park “Ravne 2” as the Park of the Cantonal Importance, as soon as possible, and to dedicate more attention to following and helping the project in Visoko, a project which is bringing the wellbeing and benefits not only to the citizens of Visoko, but as well as to the entire Canton and the State.
