A volunteer spends 40 days in the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids
by Monia Lippi
Why haven’t we heard anything about the Bosnian Pyramids, especially from the mainstream media, which 10 years ago called this discovery a huge archeology “hoax”?
Perhaps it’s because they would have had to admit they made a big mistake saying that Bosnia’s “Indiana Jones” was falsely trying to make people believe that there are pyramids in Visoko, Bosnia.
I personally visited the site in Visoko, near the end of August 2016. I was there for 40 days. My small contribution was helping to remove 1 meter (3 feet) of soil and clay from the concrete surface of the north side of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, and helping excavate fill-in material from the labyrinth Tunnel Ravne. While in the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids, I also photographed and documented the most active archeological site with the biggest pyramid ever discovered (the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun).
Being there and looking at the artificial geometry and the perfect orientation of these green “hills,” the first question that comes to mind is, “How is it possible that nobody with an ‘archeological eye’ noticed them before”? The geometry is so obvious, especially the geometry of the Pyramid of the Sun. And there is additional evidence once excavation begins: artificial blocks of concrete, pavement stones on different levels composing structurally inclined terraces on the Pyramid of the Moon, and various archaeological features of the Bosnian Pyramid of Love, the Bosnian Pyramid of the Dragon, and the Temple of Mother Earth, as well as of nearby Vratnica Tumulus and Ravne Tunnel Labyrinth. These elements, taken together, speak for themselves. In the case of these giant structures, it is not necessary to have a Ph.D. to understand obvious things or to distinguish if something is made by intelligent hands or natural.
Of course, I was also very interested to meet the great “Bosnian Indiana Jones”, Dr. Sam Osmanagich, Ph.D.
Before visiting the site, I wrote to Dr. Osmanagich and explained that I love archeology and I’m a photographer interested in his project. So he invited me to spend several weeks with him and accompany him on his group tours and scientific conferences.
I don’t want to talk about the old embarrassing articles I researched and read about him and his “fake” discoveries and his “pseudo”-archeology, especially by the “faithful” Wikipedia. These articles only serve to shine a bright light on the “odyssey” that he and others supporting the Bosnian Pyramids Project have gone through.
When Dr. Osmanagich announced in 2005 the discovery of large ancient pyramids, which he called, “Bosnian Pyramids,” he was attacked by mainstream magazines and newspapers. When he announced that he would start excavating these ancient structures, 23 academic archeologists, geologists, historians, and museum curators signed and sent a petition to the Bosnian government asking them not to stop excavations.
Even though Dr. Osmanagich was finding artificial concrete blocks on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, many archaeology “experts” asked the help of then President of the European Archeology Association of the U.K., Anthony Harding, to stop the Bosnian Pyramids Project. They started to write magazines and newspapers and claimed on their web site that Dr. Osmanagich is an amateur archaeologist, not an expert, and that this project was a big archeology “hoax” designed to bring money to Dr. Osmanagich’s beloved Bosnia. Then, the President of the European Archeology Association of the U.K. and other archeologists from Germany, France and United States signed another petition to stop the project, but it was rejected to the Bosnian government.
Not happy, they sent letters to the National European Association in France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Croatia, Slovenia asking to boycott the Bosnian Pyramids Project and stated that if any archeologist went to Bosnia to perform research, they would find themselves out of a job in their country.
Not did Dr. Osmanagich not have help, he suddenly a lot of aggressive enemies in Europe. He invited an expert in Pyramids from Egypt, Dr. Ali Barikat, who spent 48 days on the site in Visoko. At the scientific conference in Sarajevo, on the 23rd of June, 2006, Dr. Barakat declared that the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun is a man-made pyramid. He sent his report letter to his boss in Cairo, Dr. Zahi Hawas, who organized few days later a meeting with the Ministers of Culture and Tourism, and the Supreme Council of Antiquities, where the topic on the agenda was about the possible detrimental effects of the Bosnian Pyramids tourism on Egyptian Pyramids tourism.
As we know, there is a lot of tourist travel to Egypt, and many millions of dollars are spent in Egypt annually. And of course, if even only 20% of this money were lost, because tourists are instead attracted to Bosnian archaeological sites, it would be a big loss for Egypt.
Therefore, after that meeting, which was specifically and solely about tourism dollars (not about archaeological truth), it was declared that there are no ancient pyramids in Bosnia. It was declared that the blocks of concrete are natural. Dr. Ali Barakat was labeled as inexpert in pyramid archaeology, and when he went back to Cairo he was fired and he lost his job as the Minister of Geology. Barakat later recanted, stating that he was wrong, there are no pyramids in Bosnia. He now does not respond to inquires about pyramids in Bosnia.
All of these facts show that the discovery of pyramids in Bosnia is not just a local issue, but has international scientific, economic and political repercussions.
Although Dr. Osmanagich’s support from Egypt was withdrawn, he fortunately gained a lot of attention all around the world. He received help from thousands of volunteers from all over the globe, and scientists from many countries visited the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids to perform research on various aspects of the pyramid complex. Thus, the Bosnian Pyramids Project quickly became the most active archaeological project on the planet.
I personally came from New York. As a volunteer on the project, I worked with people of different ages from Spain, France, the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, England, the United States, and Bosnia. For many of them it was not even their first time! A good number of them had already spent weeks or months working there, while at the same time having a lot of fun digging and helping out in whatever way they could. They were all proud to support this archeological project.
But even this many volunteers are not enough for a big project like this. There is a great deal of excavation work to do on these huge pyramids and in labyrinthine underground tunnels called Ravne, tunnels that have been shown by two satellite-based Ground Penetrating Radar scans to be tens of kilometers long. There is also an endless amount of scientific research to do.
It is a shame to see all the cultural, political, academic, and economic obstacles, when the people behind these obstacles should instead be promoting scientific research and excavation.
“Opinions” don’t count in the scientific arena. Using science, including a recent LIDAR scan of the Visoko valley, Dr. Osmanagich has demonstrated that the structures there have pyramidal faces oriented toward the cardinal points. Indeed, the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun has the most perfect orientation to Cosmic North of any pyramid thus far analyzed on the planet. The discovery of the presence of man-made concrete blocks and claystones and inclined spiraling claystone terraces would shock an unbiased scientific world, but orthodox academia remains silent. Ravne Tunnel Labyrinth, a prehistoric tunnel filled in an estimated 4,600 years ago, and currently being excavated of loose sand and riverstones, has been shown to have many different connecting and winding passageways and large dead-end chambers and also channels of water which, for some reason, were not filled in by the culture that filled in the rest of the tunnel labyrinth 4,600 years ago.
All of these scientific discoveries have been ignored and/or ridiculed by mainstream science. Why?
Dr. Osmanagich created a nonprofit foundation called “Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun” to oversee archeological excavation in the Visoko, Bosnia area. And this was a step forward. But more problems came when the president of the State Commission for National Monuments in Bosnia changed the law to say the the majority of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun was suddenly “protected.” Protected from what? Protected from the Foundation. Protected from excavation. Protected from scientific investigation, from scientific inquiry. In fact, he brought the government to court. He sued them, and after five years the judgment was in his favor and against the government and finally he could continue to excavate.
Archaeological Park Foundation volunteers and employees, under the direction of Dr. Osmanagich, have continued dig in legally permissible areas in the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids, even though scores of magazines, archeological and geological association, as well as American anthropologists and academies of science and European archeological associations in Germany, U.K., and France are against the project. Work continues even though influential Egyptologists and even Bosnian political parties are against the project, hoping Dr. Osmanagich will surrender to the pressure to quit. But Dr. Osmanagich, and science, will never quit.
Dr. Sam Osmanagich is a determined person. He feels that this is an important site that will give humanity a fascinating glimpse into the past. All of these obstacles from those who, by and large, have never visited the site, are unacceptable and irrelevant to him.
Despite bad publicity from international media, during the following five years, thousands of volunteers from 62 countries and 6 continents have come to Visoko, Bosnia to contribute their hard work to this project, which is open to anyone from the ages of 8 to 84 years old.
In 2007, scientists discovered a large iron plate was detected beneath the Pyramid of the Sun, in addition to underground water flows. As we know, iron produces a magnetic field, and running water creates electric currents and also release (health-giving) negative ions and a natural magnetism. These natural elements together produce powerful natural energies, and apparently the pyramidal shape above amplifies these energetic phenomena.
Four independent teams, in different times and during the four seasons, have all gotten the same results in their study of an energy beam at the top of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun. They discovered the presence of an electromagnetic beam of 28 kHz, with an approximately four-meter radius, a continuous and focused energy beam, coming out from, or going into, or both going out from and going into, the top of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun. Fifty years ago, American researcher, Ralph Ring demonstrated, using ping pong balls, that 28 kHz is a frequency of levitation (anti-gravity).
Because Mother Nature doesn’t create such energy beams, scientists know that it is artificial. Scientists were surprised that this energy beam was stronger the farther away it was from the top of the pyramid. This was a discovery of so-called “non-Hertzian” energy. Thus it has been concluded that the pyramid is an energy machine of some sort that presumably has been working continuously for thousands of years.
Five years ago, Goran Samoukovic, electronic engineer from Serbia, measured more electromagnetic phenomena and extreme low frequency, called “Schumann Resonance” of 7.83 KHZ. Everything resonates in nature at 7.83 kHz, humans, animals, plants and everything. This is the best vibration for our physical, intellectual, and spiritual abilities.
Again, trying to convert the electromagnetism to sound, they recorded the electromagnetism of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Moon and then converted to sound. Also this result was impressive, more like a music, and different from the music of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun.
I hope that pyramids and other archeological structures and artifacts will be not only enigmatic reminders of lost civilizations but also interesting opportunities to research, with an open mind, the mysteries of ancient and advanced civilizations that lived on this planet and that have disappeared for unknown reasons.
The mysteries of the Bosnian Pyramid Complex are just a part of the story of intelligent life on planet Earth. But interestingly the scientific orthodoxy has fought Dr. Osmanagich “tooth and nail,” so we know this an important piece of the puzzle about our past.
With love for archeology and the evolving truth,
