The ‘Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun’ Foundation acquired additional 5,000 m2 of land adjacent to the ‘Ravne 2’ Park. This parcel of land lies on a rather steep slope and has been covered with a dense thicket. The lot’s upper, western edge borders the existing local road in Dubrave, while its northern boundary will extend the park by 30 meters.
The Foundation’s crew cleared the western section and installed wooden stairs. Using excavators and manual labor of employees and volunteers, a new path was made along the upper edge of the new lot to create a roundabout that would lead to the low-lying parts of the park. This new path will serve as a new recreational trail for park visitors.
Right along this trail, one finds conglomerate rocks similar to those that covered the entrance into the Ravne tunnels in 2005.
