The Federal Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Amir Zukić has visited the Archaeological-Tourist Park “Ravne 2”, accompanied by another two members of Federal parliament from Visoko. He admitted that he hasn’t been coming to these locations for several years.
– I’m fascinated by the great physical efforts which are invested so the tunnel could be the tourist destination, but also great intellectual effort of the people led by Dr. Osmanagich who have created the presumptions to get this phenomenon closer to the tourists and citizens and to create the presumptions for the development and comprehension of the phenomenon. In the beginning, the Foundation had the support by the state authorities and institutions, but in the meantime the vacuum was created, during which all relied on the organizational capabilities of Dr. Osmanagich and the people around him, and now I believe that the project reached the phase when we have to articulate the interests of the broader civil society. I refer here to Visoko but also the entire Bosnia-Herzegovina, because this is the project which is offering huge opportunities for the touristic development and the project should be a “must see” destination for the visitors, which are coming to our country. Also, here we have the project which can contribute in a certain way to the science, which should give the answers to many questions posed by these destinations and manifestations produced by these objects. Today’s presentation is a good opportunity to gather a circle of people from the state structures and try together with the Foundation to find a way to accelerate this project. The time behind us showed great persistence, and almost everyone in the world knows about this phenomenon, so it’s up to us to make the most of what the Foundation has reached and animate everyone who can contribute in order to expand the explorations. Of course, all of this allows a step ahead in the tourism development, bringing the economic development and economic benefits. The presumptions do exist and it’s up to us to consider the chances and make most of them. – Minister Zukić said.
