Traditionally, as it was in previous years, the touristic season in the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids was opened by the dear guests from Bulgaria, almost hundred of them, which have arrived with the TV reporter and TV producer from Burgas, Asen Asenov.
For several years now, these organised visits of the Bulgarian tourist officially start the new season in Visoko. The Bulgarians were welcomed at the Belvedere site by Dr. Sam Osmanagich, and after the introductory lecture the guests visited the locations on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun and after the Underground tunnels Ravne.
After the visit they didn’t hide the astonishment with what they saw, and Asen revealed where the idea to bring the tourist to our country and Visoko comes from.
– By now, I brought with me almost 40 groups to Visoko from Bulgaria, and it all started in 2011. Since 2005 in Bulgaria I’ve started the research on Bogumils, where did they come from, what did they do, since they were present in Bulgaria too. In my research I’ve found the connection with BH. Therefore, I started getting interested in your country and in the meantime, I had contact with Dr. Osmanagich, where it all starded. Several times a year I pay a visit to Visoko together with the guests from all around Bulgaria. I think that this is a very important thing and an important the project not only in the Balkans, but for the whole Europe. People coming here are more than satisfied with what they see, pyramids, energy, tunnels, and after the visits they speak with enthusiasm about all that they saw and that they have witnessed, as well as about other beautiful things which the country has to offer.- Asenov said.
