A Memorandum of Undeerstanding was signed in Visoko on November 23, 2018, in regards of organization of the world festival “Pyramid Yoga Fest”, which should be held from August 5th to 8th, 2019 in the park “Ravne 2” in Visoko, Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The organizer of the Festival is the News Agency and Center for Tolerance ‘Sarajevo Tribune’, represented by Sabiha Hadžimuratović. The organization includes the Foundation ‘Archeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun’, the Municipality of Visoko and the AidNet Foundation from Sarajevo, represented by Slobodan Soya, former Bosnian ambassador to Egypt and Paris.
The Festival is planned to include music, yoga, organic and spiritual life, culture and art. The Festival would be held annually, in August, for a period of four days in Visoko and one day in Sarajevo.
The Foundation agreed to put all its capacities in the service of the Festival’s organization: the installations and contents of the park ‘Ravne 2’, the Aero spa and the future Wellness Center, the archaeological sites of the pyramids and tunnels, a guide and tourist service, the management of the volunteer action, parking spaces and other infrastructure facilities. There is a process of completing and renovating existing facilities in the park ‘Ravne 2’, such as meditation platform, concert stage, finishing of multimedia hall, and places for lectures/presentations, music concerts, food tents, art and sculpting workshops, etc.
The organizer has predicted that the capacity of the first Festival is 5,000 (five thousand) participants, practitioners of yoga, spiritual music and healthy, organic food from all over the world.
