After the renovation, which lasted one month in March 2017, the team of the “Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun” Foundation has completed the total remodeling of the prefabricated house in front of the entrance to the prehistorical Underground labyrinth Ravne.
This is the popular “little house”, called like this by everyone. Sale of the tickets, books, DVDs and souvenirs is done here. The house is refreshed with the golden paint on the exterior and a new sign which marks the point of sale of the official Foundation products and the tickets.
The interior of the house is insulated and painted in white, the new white cabinets with shelves are mounted, as well as the electrical switches and floor tiles. The house now has three windows and a glass door which allows a lot of natural light to get in. On its sides the new drainage is carried out which will prevent the flooding.
The Foundation is charging the tickets in accordance with the Law on VAT, which says that “the organizations registered in the field of cultural heritage” (The Foundation is registered by the Ministry of Justice for the preservation of the cultural heritage), and which are “promoting the tourist locations” are free of VAT charge”.
The rich asortment of the Foundation products includes the books on the pyramids, archaeological reports, scientific almanacs, DVD’s and CD’s, on Bosnian, English, Czech, French, German, Turkish, Russian and Arabic language. Besides Dr. Sam Osmanagich’s, there are books by the members of the Foundation’s Board of Directors Ahmed Bosnic and Slobodan Stajic, and by the Foundation’s associate Igor Stipic from Split.
Dzenana and Salko specially appreciate this, because they’ve got an excellent space for the work and sales. The costs of the renovation was carried completely by the Foundation.
