The spiral botanical garden was constructed and opened in August 2016. Although the midsummer isn’t the recommended period for the planting of the herbs, sixteen different medicinal and seasoning herbs were planted in this garden. The plants made it through a warm summer and the cold winter and started growing, nourished by the spiral energy.
The shallot stands out especially with the purple flower of the onion family. The shallot strengthens the heart, purifies the blood and boosts the blood circulation, lowers the high blood pressure, cholesterol and sugar, reduces the digestive problems and helps the kidney function.
Along with it, the lemon balm tea calms the cramps and soothes the nerves. Carmelite nuns from France made the potions which enabled with the regular use the French people to live to hundred years in the Middle Age.
Essential oils are obtained from the basil, which stimulates digestion, clean the organism and ease the function of the liver. It’s used for seasoning of the food and in aromatherapy.
These and other plants show the very important aspect of the Park “Ravne 2” as an educational and ecological nature park.
