Field Geologist od the ‘Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun’ Foundation Eng. Mejra Kozlo, regularly measures the basic parameters in the prehistoric Underground Labyrinth Ravne. On July 26th, 2018, measurements were made on twelve locations (control location outside the tunnel, one in front of the entrance, and the other ten at the key points in the tunnels).
The results of the measurements show that the humidity level is standard (75-80%), the temperature in the tunnels is 12-14 degrees Celsius, and the atmospheric pressure 953. The values of negative ions outside the tunnel are at a low level of 500-600 negative ions per cubic centimeter, and concentrations of positive ions were higher (1200-1300 ion/cc), which is not good.
However, when entering the Ravne tunnels, negative ion values are considerably higher. After the first twenty meters they are at 4200 ion/cc, to increase to the egg-shaped block to 26,400 ions/cc. In the most attractive places for visitors, such as the K-2 megaceramic block, the Healing chamber, the K-5 block, and others, the values are above 30,000 ion/cc, which is almost ten times that of Bosnian mount Igman.
It is important to note that in most cases the concentration of negative ions is above the concentration of positive ions, which allows free negative ions to purify the atmosphere from dust and human body from the microbes.
Measurements were performed using the Air Ion Counter instrument of the American manufacturer Alpha Lab Inc. This is a new instrument, which was calibrated at the factory a week ago.
