Old European votives, Bosnian stećaks, as well architectural properties of the Bosnian pyramids suggest that the pyramids in Visoko were traditionally designed to correspond with the geography of what in Egyptian religion was called the Duat, or in Greek esoteric doctrine Hades. Both spiritual concepts are the equivalent of the Netherworld.
Evidently, rather than tombs of a King, almost all known pyramids were intended to be places of ascension and transformation of the soul. Khufu called his pyramid Akhet, meaning the Horizon, or the \”place of becoming a spirit\”.
Like in Egypt, in Bosnia we encounter the symbol \”Horizon\” since the prehistory, embedded on both Old European artifacts as well Bosnian stećaks. In Old Europe, like in ancient Egypt, and Greece, the concept of the Netherworld, as well different stages of a souls journey to the Limitless Light, are reflected not only in the sacred texts, artifacts, and monolithic monuments, but also in the substructure of the pyramids themselfs.
Today, thanks to different discoveries made by scientists involved into the project of the Bosnian pyramids, the ancient science related to the concept of a souls immortal existence challenges more than ever our understanding of life, death and the universe.
