This year’s archaeological season in the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids has marked the beginning of many visits and excursions to Visoko.
More than 340 students and teachers (Elementary School "Musa Čazim Ćatić) from Zenica arrived in seven buses, traveling through the narrow streets of Visoko.
They took photos of the world’s largest stone structure (The Pyramid of the Sun), and then followed a visit to the stone structure in Gornje Vratnice and the mysterious network of underground tunnels in Ravne Place.
Their enthusiasm and amazement were marked with the following words:
"Even if we had any doubts, they are all gone. We are convinced that Visoko’s Valley is hiding the remains of the ancient structures. We are very proud that something like this exists in our country. We are so happy that we found the Pyramids and the underground tunnels."
