Intensive, two-month long volunteering activities of the “Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun” Foundation on the arrangement of the old Orthodox cemetery are in their final stage. During the past few days, the Foundation’s team used mowing machines, trimmers and chain saws to cut grass, weed and bushes at the cemetery zone.
The ruined concrete poles will be fixed and brought back for installment. The gate is placed in front of the access road in order to prevent the parking of vehicles and waste disposal.
Soon, the Foundation will mount a green net around the cemetery boundaries to separate it from the neighboring parcels. During this autumn, Foundation is planning to plant Cypress trees to separate the cemetery from the other parcels with a natural border.
