The team of the Foundation ‘Archaeological Park: The Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun’ cleared the newly acquired parcel at the foot of the northern side of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun. Over the past days, with the combination of excavators and human work, the surface layers of earth and clay are removed in search of preserved concrete blocks of the pyramid.
Preliminary results confirm the claims of the previous owners that the parts of the pyramid here has been blown away decades ago with the use of explosives from nearby mines, and that pieces of pyramid concrete were used in the construction of local houses. Coves on the plot show where the material was being taken out.
However, some blocks have ‘survived’ and in the next period special attention will be paid to their cleaning.
It is interesting to note that the presence of dolomite and white crystals in larger quantities is determined, which is in line with the earlier results of the probe F-1 and the corner sonda, when it was established that the crystal completely covers the sections of the pyramid. The builders brought dolomite on the pyramid due to its energy properties.
