The meeting of the Foundation’s Board of the Directors took place today in Hotel Grand, Sarajevo, and among the participants were: Prof. Ahmed Bosnić, Vlatko Določek, Slobodan Stajic, Amila Omersoftić, Semir Osmanagić, Jovo Jovanović, Ferid Jašarević and the editorial staff of the "Piramida" magazine, including the Foundation’s sponsors and media representatives.
Prof. Ahmed Bosnić, the Chairman of the Board of the Directors, highlighted the Foundation’s achievements in conducting its scientific research this year, which confirm the legitimacy of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun project on the global scale. The First International Scientific Conference about the Bosnian Pyramids (held in August of 2008) was also underlined and the Book of the Proceedings of the scientific works to be published.
Mr. Semir Osmanagić gave the presentation regarding the archaeological research results about the Pyramid of the Sun, Moon, tumulus in Vratnice and the network of the underground tunnels in Ravne, including the research results of the geophysical measurements and lab analyses.
It was concluded the opening of the new archaeological sites confirmed the artificial characteristics of the construction in Visoko. The multidisciplinary scientific research included radiocarbon analyses, geological drill, the recordings of the geophysical and geochemical fields, geomorphologic analyses of the samples and they all confirm the existence of the artificial structures in the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids.
The first issue of the „Piramida" Magazine with its publisher, Tirada d.o.o." and CPU from Sarajevo were also introduced at the meeting. The Editor In-Chief of this magazine, Mr. Avdagić Šefik emphasized the need for such a magazine that will be issued once a month. It will cover the news about the archaeological discoveries in Visoko, the Balkans and the rest of the world.
The Foundation’s associates, sponsors and individuals who came from Visoko, Sarajevo, Donji Vakuf, Zavidovići, Zenica and Ljubljana (Slovenia), were all given acknowledgements from the Foundation.
