Summer Solstice Festival has brought to Visoko also in this year the interesting ensemble from Zagreb, named „Vibrica“. The members of this collective were very successful in warm up of all the present guests in the park „Ravne 2“, so much that the public came to the stage for a couple of times and danced with the members of the collective. The band was called for the encore by the public for several turns. What is „Vibrica“, what are they playing, where are they coming from and how happy were they with the performance in Visoko, was discovered by a member of this collective.
– „Vibrica“ is a percussion band created in Zagreb four years ago. There we perform the most of the time, and as a group of friends, we participated in the course of the West African rhythms after what we gathered and started performing. From a few members only we count 20 today, and to Visoko we arrived upon the invitation by Dr. Sam Osmanagich to whom we are most thankful. What is special is that this is our first performance outside Croatia, and after everything we experienced in Visoko I’m convinced, as are the other band members, that we will come back, of course, if we are invited, to this place. The Festival, the audience, the environment, everything is genial and we didn’t hope that it will be so beautiful, while the fantastic and warm reactions of the audience kept us on the stage longer than agreed. – said the member of „Vibrica“ from Zagreb, the ensemble which had performed for the first time at the Festival in Visoko and drawn the sympathy of the numerous people present.
