There is a huge network of underground tunnels, chambers, intersections and lakes under the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids. Currently, excavation work is focused to clean existing tunnels filled and closed down by unknown civilization 4.610 years ago.
Cleaning work is done by ten Foundation’s employees lead by experienced miner One team removes the filler material (rocks, pebbles, sand), another load the wheelbarrows (everything is done manually), third team is preparing the wood to make safety wooden support afterwards.
Beginning of December 2016, Foundation’s team started clearing new tunnel. It looks very promising. After few meters, it seems that new intersection is discovered with possible small chamber.
Work will continue during winter months (December, 2016 – March, 2017). It’s expected that section of at last 50 meters is to be cleared in this period.
