These days, we often come across the headline: “A Discovery on the Giza Plateau Shakes Everything We Thought We Knew”... A research team consisting of Filippo Biondi, Corrado Malanga, and Armando Mei conducted a study using Doppler tomography and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) to investigate the internal structure of the Great Pyramid of Giza. Their research was initially published as a preprint on arXiv on August 1, 2022, with a peer-reviewed version later published in Remote Sensing on October 19, 2022. The results of this study were first presented to the public on March 16, 2025, at a conference in Castel San Pietro Terme, Bologna [1].
