Ravne Complex and Archaeological and Tourist Park “Ravne 2” on Saturday, May 21, 2022 were the site of the International Taekwondo Tournament “Pyramid Open Visoko 2022” organized by TKD “Bosna” Visoko and the Foundation “Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun”.

This was another unforgettable sporting event in the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids, which gathered over 400 competitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, but also a large number of coaches, parents and other guests, so that the park “Ravne 2” was full throughout the day guests, of which for a large number this was the first visit and the first tour of the Foundation’s locations.

– Organizationally, although it was a little difficult to plan and organize everything in the open, the tournament deserved the highest possible rating, but also in terms of the number of visitors and competitors who arrived today. This was another unforgettable event that we organized at our beautiful locations in the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids, and content and events will not be missing this year, but we are preparing for our traditional festival on the occasion of summer, but also for many other events that will enrich offer of the Visoko and our country. – the program director of the park “Ravne 2”, Evelina Cehajic, told us.

For this occasion and this event, the contents of the park, Time Machine and labyrinths have been turned into battlefields, and a large number of competitors will forever remember the performance in the park “Ravne 2”, because many of them achieved their first victories in this competition, but also won the first medals.

At the opening of the tournament, the organizer, the director of TKD “Bosna” Visoko, Edin Kajevic, also thanked the people and companies that helped organize this event, and he expressed special gratitude to dr. Semir Osmanagic and the Foundation, for help with the organization, as well as the locations where the tournament was held.

Until recently, it was considered impossible to extract DNA from mummies because it was believed that embalming destroyed the deoxyribonucleic acid. More recently, however, scientists have been able to develop a new method that allows DNA extraction.

They first tried the method on Neanderthals, and then moved on to mummies. As a result, they got the genes of more than 80 mummies, among which were the pharaohs. Detailed study of the genes shocked the scientific world, because as it turned out - the pharaohs have nothing in common with the Egyptians. Moreover, all ancient Egyptian rulers were Caucasoids.

The innovative method has pleased the scientific world and has strongly upset the government of Egypt. Authorities have reacted negatively to information about the color of the pharaohs, they believe that "white" deliberately change the history and heritage of Egypt, in order to assign it to themselves.

The Foundation “Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun” has announced the program of the festival and fair in the park “Ravne 2”, which will be held from 17 to 21 June 2022 on the occasion of the summer solstice. La Quemada is a Mesoamerican complex located on a small, central mountain in the Malpaso Valley of central Zacateca, Mexico.

Situated on the northern frontier or periphery of Mesoamerica, La Quemada has been the subject of various interpretations in an attempt to associate the settlement with different regional cultures.

It has been characterised as a Toltec outpost, a Teotihuacán fortress, a Purépecha centre, a Chichimeca complex and the whimsical 18th century suggestion that La Quemada is the legendary site of Chicomoztoc, from which the Aztec Mexicas, Tepanecs, Acolhuas, and other Nahuatl-speaking peoples considered their mythological home.

The main occupation of La Quemada apparently dates to the Epiclassic period (AD 600–900), although earlier and later dates have been recorded that makes the foundation of the site and extent of occupation inconclusive.

The Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun founder Semir Osmanagic has revealed the Archaeological Park in Visoko will be getting two tennis courts as they want to give Novak Djokovic a place to prepare for some of the biggest events in the world.

Djokovic, a 20-time Grand Slam champion, has become a regular guest at the Archaeological Park in Visoko and the plan is to give the world No. 1 a place to relax and train when he comes to Bosnia with his family next time.

Djokovic has been several times to the Archaeological Park since the start of the pandemic as that's the place where he likes to come and recharge his batteries. The Archaeological Park in Visoko will be getting two courts - a clay and a hard court - and the people from the Novak Tennis Center are helping in the construction of tennis courts in Visoko.

On March 21, 2022, the ‘Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun’ Foundation started the construction of two top quality tennis courts in the beautiful ‘Archaeological and Tourist Park Ravne 2’ in Visoko.

In the past few weeks, earthworks are underway, installation of drainage pipes for groundwater drainage, filling of the terrain with 1,200 cubic meters of large buffer to stabilize the ground, earthworks for the stands and the beginning of the construction of locker rooms.

Extensive work on adding about 1,500 cubic meters of smaller tampon follows in order to obtain adequate compressive strength and prepare the ground for asphalting. There is also drainage for surface, rainwater, installation of power cables, construction of a facility for four locker rooms and two offices, construction of two side stands and central stands and the like.

After these major works on the preparation of substrates in April and May 2022, it is expected to start installing the highest quality substrates-coatings for the first, hard terrain in order to achieve the quality of the world's best hard terrains. The second terrain should be prepared for 85 tons of slag. After that, spotlight, wire fence, nets and other equipment will be installed. Experts from the "Novak" Academy from Belgrade will take care of the top quality.

In this way, fields will be obtained that will be close to the level of the ground at the US Open in New York and Roland Garross in Paris. The grandstands and nearby benches should accommodate more than 1,000 visitors.

Thus, the Foundation would build the first open court with a hard surface in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and from these two courts it would have a location for the preparation of top tennis players for most world tournaments.

Secretary General of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr Said Fazlagić, Director of the Tennis Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Senad Hadžimešić, Mayor of Visoko Mirza Ganić, Chairman of the House of Representatives Mirsad Zaimović, Members of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH Miralem Galijašević and Nermin Mandra, Kaknja Mayor Mirnes Bajtarević and Jusic, tennis player Aldin Setkic and others gave full support to this project and the ideas of the Foundation.

In a statement, Senad Hadžimešić pointed out:

"We hope that, after the completion of the complex, our senior and junior national teams will come here for longer preparations in the area of pyramids, tunnels and parks."

The opening of the court is expected on July 13, 2022, with an exhibition meeting of the world's best tennis players. In the introductory meeting, the best Bosnian tennis players would meet. That day will be dedicated to tennis because we expect that the tennis cadet national teams of Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Macedonia will also attend the opening. The champion of the Sarajevo Opera, Marko Kalajanović, will perform in the cultural program with the aria ‘Toreador’ from the opera ‘Carmen’.

The goal of the Foundation is to create the highest quality Regional Center for the preparation of the world's top tennis players, and for the preparation of senior and junior national teams from the region. Top exhibition matches of active and former world tennis stars are also expected to be played.

Apart from the sports aspect, the tourist promotional one is also important, which will confirm the fact that the Foundation generates only positive stories from the heart of the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids.
