From December 4–7, 2025, the international film event Palma di Eccellenza Award was held in Milan, Italy, organized by FilmMaker Life in cooperation with the world’s largest film platform, Film Freeway.
FilmMaker Life inducted Dr Sam Osmanagich into the official FilmMaker Hall of Fame

His three films (Miracle in the Heart of Bosnia, In Search of Paradise on Earth – The Kingdom of Bahrain, and The Purpose of Plain of Jars in Laos Finally Discovered) have won more than 25 international awards at film festivals and became festival winners in the United Kingdom, Germany, Mexico, Turkey, Italy, the United States, Malta, and France.
This was the reason why Dr Sam Osmanagich was the prime honoree during the Palma di Eccellenza Award ceremony.
The official statement reads:
“The Organizing Committee of the International Excellence Awards and World Class Film Awards presents the Palma di Eccellenza Award in the field of cultural heritage and global tourism to Dr S. Osmanagich for his dedication to cultural heritage, research, and international tourism, promoting worldwide interest in the ancient sites of Bosnia and Herzegovina. His work is focused on the preservation of cultural heritage, education, and purposeful investigation, encouraging visitors from around the world to respect the history, culture, and value of these discoveries. Milan, Italy, December 6, 2025.”
