The Foundation “Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun” presents the official Archaeological Research Report of the Ravne 3, Ravne 4, Ravne 5, and Ravne 6 tunnels, documenting the results of systematic and protective archaeological investigations conducted between August and December 2025 in Visoko, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The research was carried out in accordance with approved permits and standard archaeological methodology, under the supervision of qualified professionals and in cooperation with relevant museum and heritage institutions. The report details stratigraphic analyses, material finds, geodetic mapping, and scientific dating results, including uranium–thorium radiometric dating of stalagmite layers associated with dry-stone wall structures inside the tunnels.
The findings confirm the presence of multiple cultural layers, clear evidence of anthropogenic activity, and complex underground construction features within the Ravne tunnel system. These results contribute significantly to the ongoing scientific documentation of the site and provide an important foundation for further interdisciplinary research.
