The Municipality of Visoko, the Native Land Museum of Visoko and the “Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun” Foundation are resolved, each in the scope of the authority and capability, to invest the efforts in the tourist infrastructure development and much better reception of the tourists in 2018.
After the completion of arrangements of the tourist destination “Ravne Complex”, the Foundation started with the construction activities of the Info Desk at the foothills on the north side of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun. Since the Foundation has acquired to manage this parcel location, the November days are actively used for the installment of the temporary pre-fabricated building. On the 15 square meters of the surface, there will be the “Info Center” for the tourist, booksellers, ticket donations and tourist souvenirs.
The skilled workers of the Foundation have installed the little house in a record-breaking time at the entrance to the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun.
At this location, also, we will construct the natural ground stairs accessing the archaeological probes on the north side of the Pyramid. In addition to the existing, the probes will include the newly opened where the workers and the volunteers will be active in 2018. The new probes will be outside the protected zone of the Old Town Visoko.
The first phase of the arrangements at this location will be completed by the first week of December 2017. This will be a significant contribution to the systematic resolution of the reception of tourists in Visoko in the upcoming years.
