On Sunday, November 9, 2025, it will be twenty years since the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina registered the Foundation “Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun” as a nonprofit and non-governmental organization of broad social importance, established for the purpose of conducting archaeological and scientific research, developing archaeological tourism, organizing international congresses and conferences, running professional publishing activities, and other related initiatives. Subsequent amendments specified concrete projects, such as the research of the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids and the prehistoric phenomenon of stone spheres. (www.piramidasunca.ba)
The Foundation celebrates this major anniversary by continuing its work: its achievements are remarkable. Working across an area of 50 square kilometers, the Foundation’s professional team has confirmed the existence of six pyramid-like structures, two tumuli, and has discovered seven entrances to prehistoric tunnels. Teams of engineers, geophysicists, and physicists have measured and determined that the Visoko pyramid complex functions as an energy amplifier, with energy that may be used for long-distance communication, health protection (www.lbosnianpyramidhealing.com), enhancement of the molecular structure of water and food, strengthening of the immune system, atmospheric protection, and the development of spiritual perception.
This fundamentally changes the narrative about pyramids: they were not constructed for a single deceased individual (a king or pharaoh), but for living communities, designed to last for hundreds of years. The global promotion of these discoveries has sparked a shift in public perception toward pyramids. Increasing numbers of rational observers are rejecting tales of pyramids serving as tombs for pharaohs and are seeking truthful answers to the questions of who built them, when, how, and why.
Advanced technology has established that the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, with its height of 368 meters, is unequivocally the world’s tallest pyramid; that it has the most precise orientation to north in the world; that it is the oldest; and that it has the highest-quality concrete along with the most extensive network of underground tunnels beneath any pyramid complex globally.
The Foundation has hosted eight international scientific conferences, where more than 120 experts from 18 countries contributed analyses. On the subject of the Bosnian pyramids, the founder of the Foundation, Dr. Semir Osmanagić, has written and published 33 original research articles that have appeared in 26 different peer-reviewed international scientific journals from the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and India (https://www.drsamosmanagich.com/scientific-articles). This has confirmed the scientific validation of the discoveries.
With the establishment of the Archaeological-Tourist-Sports-Educational Park Ravne 2 (www.parkravne2.com), the Foundation created a regional cultural oasis with the highest ecological, inclusive, and spiritual standards, demonstrating that major projects do not always require government funding or international donations. In this case, vision, enthusiasm, and volunteerism played a key role.
The excellent Foundation team—including employees, guides, the Board of Directors, volunteers, and all other collaborators—represents the brightest example that a community, and indeed the world, can be changed when united around a positive idea. The official Foundation flag bearing the words “Love, Peace, Freedom in the Bosnian Pyramid District” says it all.
The Bosnian pyramids project has become a driving force for tourism in Visoko and Central Bosnia, which had never previously been tourist destinations. Over the past two decades, more than one million visitors have left Visoko deeply satisfied. (www.bosanskepiramide.ba)
With the emergence of the Foundation, the world of archaeological research changed forever. It is no longer solely the privilege of archaeology departments, universities, and museums, who have everywhere labeled such research as “confidential.” Pyramids, megalithic locations, and archaeological sites are cultural heritage and knowledge of the past that belong to everyone. In this way, the Foundation has positioned itself at the forefront of the most open archaeological project in the world.
