Introduction Dr. Sam Osmanagich, professor in anthropology at the American University of Bosnia, is a researcher who has walked his way through sand, stone and jungle vegetation, exploring his field of study objects, pyramids. He has been visiting places with pyramids throughout the world, but also megalites in seven continents, including the island Java of Indonesia, the African island of Mauritius and the Canary Islands. As he put it himself: “I think it’s hard to find a man who saw more pyramids than myself”. For the last 13 years Dr. Osmanagich has been running the Bosnian Valley project, which has become the most active archaeological site in the world. Every year hundreds of hard working volunters participate, and dozens of researchers from different scientific disciplines get involved in the project.
