Taekwondo collective “Bosna” from Visoko is organizing the International Open Taekwondo Championship “Pyramid Cup 2022” Visoko this weekend, and this interesting event will be held in the beautiful surroundings of the park “Ravne 2” in the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids.
– This is the first time in our region, ie in our country, that such a large international competition is organized in the open, so we had much more organizational preparations than usual, but on Saturday we will surely see a spectacle of competitions in all categories, to the great performance of our Demo team, which will present a number of skills. – Edin Kajevic, director of TKD “Bosna” Visoko i svetski, and Guinness World Record holder, told us.
For this occasion, the platforms in the park “Ravne 2” will be turned into arenas, and over 400 competitors are expected from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also from countries in the region. Along with the competition and revue part, the participants will have the opportunity to visit the Ravne Complex, more precisely the Prehistoric underground complex of the Ravne tunnel, as well as the Ravne 2 park, and to find out why these locations are among the most visited and attractive in our country.
– Park “Ravne 2” has become a sports oasis over the past three years, we are visited by the most successful athletes of today, the park will soon become richer for two modern tennis courts, in the Ravne Complex we have a basketball court, so in this way we expand our offer for athletes, which in the coming years we expect in the preparations in our valley of the pyramids. This time, the park will be turned into one big arena, and in addition to the competition, all our guests who come on Saturday and visit the park “Ravne 2”, which is free, will be able to enjoy other interesting content that we have prepared. -the founder of the Foundation, dr. “Pyramid Cup 2022” will be held on Saturday, May 21, the competitions start at 9:00 am, and the grand opening is at 12:00 pm, in the Archaeological and Tourist Park “Ravne 2”.
