In the organization of the company "Bosnian pyramids Inc.’’, the First International Tennis Tournament "Pyramid Cup" will be held at the tennis complex of the park "Ravne 2" from 17.-21. July 2023. The sport sponsors of the tournament are the Tennis Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The first two days of the tournament, Monday July 17th and Tuesday July 18th, will feature qualifiers with eight participants, and the main event will also have eight participants. The quarter-finals will be held on Wednesday 19 July, the semi-finals on Thursday 20 July and the final on Friday 20 July.
The tournament is timed between the Wimbledon tournament and before the ATP tournament in Umag.
The best tennis players from Bosnia and Herzegovina have confirmed their participation in the tournament, namely:
- Damir Džumhur (career ranking 23rd, current ranking 164th)
- Mirza Bašić (74. / 561.)
- Aldin Šetkić (165. / 712.)
- Nerman Fatić (195. / 251.)
- Andrej Nedic (691. / 699.)
Also, participation was confirmed by Tomislav Jotovski (career ranking 510th) from Macedonia.
Negotiations are underway on the arrival of tennis players from Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia and Hungary.
It is the wish of the organizers to host the other ranked B&H players at the tournament including Radomir Tomić (1166 / 1179), Vladan Tadić (887 / 2383), Aziz Kijametović (752 / 1002) and Nemanja Malešević (1373 / 1493).
This will be a holiday of tennis and a review of the best that Bosnia and Herzegovina can offer to the world of this popular sport.
The best ranked Bosnian doubles tennis player Tomislav Brkić (40 / 81) will hold a tennis weekend for young tennis players on 15-16 July 2023
Also, work is being done on the organization of a showcase match of the best Bosnian female players Nefisa Berberović (221st / 341st) and Dea Herdželaš (183rd / 388th).
Matches will be played on two sets won. The third set will be a super-tiebreak.
The organizer bears the costs of travel (from the region), accommodation and meals, and the prize fund. Sponsors are also the City of Visoko and BH Telecom from Sarajevo.
All matches will be with no entrance free with the aim of promoting tennis and sports among the young population.

Pursuing good health and wellness is a universal goal, and people have explored countless methods to achieve this goal. They have always been willing to try anything from traditional medicine to alternative therapies to improve their physical and emotional well-being. At the invitation of the owner of the hotel and business complex 'Vema' in Visoko, Osman Suša, the team of the Foundation 'Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun' visited this facility in the center of Visoko on May 4, 2023. Foundation’s director Dr Sam Osmanagich, tourist manager Ajdin Ahmetspahić and Park 'Ravne 2' Program manager Evelina Čehajić spent 90 minutes in the company of Mr. Suša for the guiding tour of the facility.
The construction of this significant investment for Visoko and Bosnia and Herzegovina is in its final phase. There are fine works on all levels: two underground levels of garages with 240 parking spaces, paving of the surrounding square and driveways, business premises for shops, boutiques and restaurants on two levels, and the hotel part that extends over four floors. It also includes modern spaces for spa and wellness; indoor swimming pool, saunas, cosmetic area with manicure and pedicure, gym, helipad, observatory, climbing wall.
The arrangement of the rooms, which range from double to presidential suites, is impressive. Most of them are fully furnished. This modern complex will mark a turning point in the offer of accommodation and catering facilities in Visoko.
In his statement, Dr. Osmanagić pointed out:

Dr. Semir Osmanagic was shocked by the vandalism of the stone ball in Zavidovici.
As Osmanagic says, the ‘Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun’ foundation has made a huge effort to promote the 37-ton prehistoric wonder since its discovery in 2016, and the world’s largest media have talked about this ball.
Local ‘treasure hunters’ caused irreparable damage to the world attraction, and the new plot owners failed to preserve it.
“Someone hoped to find a treasure, but they don’t understand that the treasure is in one piece. Our search for the material shows all its senselessness here in Zavidovici. Instead of this ball attracting guests to us every year, those with a slightly darkened mind think they will come to some personal gain, leaving generations of young people without their bread in tourism. It’s a shame,” concluded Osmanagic, Radio Sarajevo reports.

The volunteering season at the Bosnian pyramids is one of the most active and exciting in the entire region and beyond. The "Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun" Foundation has been organizing volunteer actions for years, where it invites interested volunteers from all over the world to join the work on the project.
Applications for the 2023 volunteer season, which begins on June 5, 2023, are open year after year, an increasing number of volunteers arrive in Visoko, who come from several different continents, and who selflessly help and contribute through work at archaeological sites.
In order to apply, you need to be between 18 and 70 years old, have a cheerful spirit and be motivated to work with people with an open mind and heart.
In 2023, archaeological work will take place under expert supervision, at several different locations that the Foundation covers through its activities. Volunteers will be able to familiarize themselves with the project, with different multidisciplinary sciences, but also to meet new people, and their cultures and customs, because Visoko really brings diversity together.
In addition to working at archaeological sites, volunteers are also involved in Eco Day actions, which includes cleaning actions in the Ravne 2 park every second Wednesday of the month.

We inform the public that from Friday, April 28, 2023, the working hours for visiting the Ravne tunnels will change. The first entry for guests accompanied by a guide will be at 9:00 a.m., and the last entry is at 6:00 p.m. Ticket price including VAT is 20 KM, and citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina pay 8 KM.
Working hours for visitors with a meditation ticket are slightly longer: from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The tunnels are locked at 8:00 p.m. The ticket for meditation is 5 KM for all visitors.
With prior notice, it is possible to visit the tunnels after 08:00 p.m. The ticket for all visitors at night is 40 KM per person.
The working hours for visiting the archeological probes with the oldest and best quality concrete in the world at the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun also change to 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The ticket price is 10 KM, and citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina have a discount and pay 5 KM.
Park "Ravne 2" is open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Entrance is free. Parking in the parking lots of the Foundation "Archaeological Park: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun" is free. The use of toilets in the park is free.
Novak Djokovic attended Dr. Semir Osmanagic's lecture in Banja Luka. Osmanagic has a doctorate in social sciences and he is the founder of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun complex. In recent years, Djokovic has been a frequent guest at the Archeological Park Ravne 2 in Visoko.
This week. Bosnia is hosting its first-ever ATP tournament in Banja Luka. Osmanagic came to Banja Luka to support Banja Luka. While in Banja Luka, Osmanagic held a lecture - which was attended by Djokovic and Banja Luka mayor Drasko Stanivukovic.
